Dear Rare Pair Fest Writer Or Artist:

Thank you for reading this letter, I’m glad we match. This is my first time participating in Rare Pair Fest, so I’m really excited! I hope we will both have a good time.

I love all these canons and pairings and would love whatever you can produce for them, whatever genre and rating, though please take note of my DNWs. I will list my general likes and some prompts too, hopefully they can be of help to you.

▄General Things I Like:

•How they got together, though established relationships are fine too.

•Hurt/Comfort, especially when it's mutual. I would love a scenerio where they are in a horrible situation like a war, or they think they are going to die so they turn to each other for comfort, either sexual or platonic. Added mental instability is appreciated.

•Small touches, little details showing how comfortable they are around each other.

•Competent porn for one character or both being badass and work well as a team.

•Horror and mind screw. Tragedy and sadness is fine but I prefer happy endings, same for blood and gore.

•Magic realism. With canons like Hetalia or Gunnerkrigg Court I would like to see the exploration of the supernatural side and how it blends in with the mundane side.

•POV of an immortal or non-human entity, may be mixed with magic realism above. Their experiences, memories, the difference between their perspective and a normal human's.

•I like hair kink, light bondage, possessive kink, crossdressing (especially for both parties), dirty talking, breath play, intercrural sex and other non penetrative types of sex. I'm fine with PWP or porn scenes in a plotty fic.

•If you do Alternate Universe I like most AUs including dystopia, apocalypse, zombie or scifi. Though I would much prefer you keeping it canon compliant.

•Canon Divergence. What if they met in different circumstances? What if an important event in canon happened differently, how would it change their relationship? And any other what ifs.

•With art I like all styles so just do what you do best, either full color or just black and white are good. Detailed background is not necessary, I’m fine with just the characters or simple background.

▄Do Not Want:

•Noncon/Rape where it's clear that one character doesn't have feeling for/hate the other or it's all about power. I'm fine with fucked up situations where they don't know of the other's feeling and is forced to hurt each other or think they are doing what's necessary. Bonus point for following hurt/comfort. Also Stockholm Syndrome is fine too.

•Preaching or Author Filibuster, I don’t want to read your personal or biased opinions on whatever topic. Also no issuefic or art equivalent.

•Kidfic or art equivalent. Especially no pregnancy.

•Character bashing.

•Focus on one character in a pair and ignore the other.

•Extreme kinks like scat, vore, anything with bodily fluid that is not blood or tear.

•Mundane or modern AUs, and Human AU for Hetalia.

•Infidelity.

▄Canons And Pairings Specific Details And Prompts:

♦Fullmetal Alchemst (Manga/Brotherhood):

•Edward Elric/Riza Hawkeye: I love the mutual respect in their relationship and Riza never underestimating Ed. I want to see the two of them go on a mission together. Or post canon with Ed showing Riza something he learned from a foreign land he traveled to. In a situation where Ed learns to shoot (either forced to or willingly) who else would he turn to but Riza. Please no motherly Riza, I hate that.

•Winry Rockbell/Rose Thomas: Friends to lovers is great for this pair, I love how close they immediately get in canon. They also both know the pain of lost and being left behind so them bonding over it would be great. Maybe when Winry was at Liore she helped Rose with her wounds and they got close. Or an AU where Rose loses an arm or leg and goes to Winry for automail. I just want more of these two.

•Winry Rockbell/ Riza Hawkeye: I love their parallel themes and would like to see it explored more, especially the images of Riza's eyes and Winry's hands. Maybe an AU where an aged up Winry takes her parents' place at Ishval and meet Riza. For fluff: Riza giving Winry a pair of earrings or Winry giving her a hair clip, because them exchanging styles in canon is adorable.

•Jean Havoc/Roy Mustang: Maybe Havoc tries to see what girls see in Roy and starts having a crush himself, maybe a one night stand ends up being more. I would love Havoc being inexperienced with men and Roy teasing him. How did Havoc come to serve under Roy and trusts him like he does in canon? And when Roy becomes Fuhrer will they be able to remain as companions and lovers? I also like Roy sitting on Havoc's lap.

♦Gunnerkrig Court:

•Antimony Carver/Jones: Them interacting in different situations would be very interesting. I wouldn’t mind character studies for this ship, especially for Jones. If they become lovers would Jones take on Annie's name when she dies and remember her for eternity? Jones had lived for a really long time, she must know some very interesting things, I would like to see her sharing them with Annie.

•Gamma Czarnecki/Zimmy: I love how complicated their relationship can be, Zimmy can be a selfish asshole but she genuinely cares for Gamma. I would like some tender moments where Zimmy shows her love for Gamma, like when she agreed to the boat trip, or the two of them playing in the rain. I love Zimmy’s artificial world and its aesthetic, something involving it would be nice. How about Gamma's life before she met Zimmy and their time on the street.

•Anthony Carver/Surma Stibnite: How do such different people came to be in love and married anyway? What happened that Surma left Egglamore for Anthony? Did he know about Surma’s nature and what having Antimony would do to her when she was pregnant? Something about the years after Surma’s death would be nice too.

•Antimony Carver/Coyote: I love how Annie doesn't fear Coyote, her butt slap in canon was great. I like him showing her all the secrets of the universe, while laughing. Coyote would set up many challenges for her because he likes seeing her overcome them. What would loving a God who really doesn't exist like? Would Coyote change Annie into something beyond what she is now so she can remain with him?

♦Paranatural:

•Isabel Guerra/Suzy: The part in the hitball match where Suzy awkwardly helped Isabel was great, I want more. Through shenanigans Suzy ends up helping the club in ghost business and gets closer to Isabel, romance ensues. Or rescue romance with Isabel saving Suzy from a ghost. I would love a tsundere-ish but still vey psychotic Suzy.

•Johnny Jhonny/Maxwell Puckett: These two together are delightful no matter the situation, whether when Johnny tries to bully Max with his self-aware thuggish ways or when they are on the same side. I can see Johnny putting on a bad boy act to impress Max, who would be really amused. Maybe something with them fighting a ghost together when Johnny’s spectral energy awakes.

•Isaac O'Connor/Maxwell Puckett: Something addressing the growing rift in their relationship would be nice. Max tries to find what happened and finds a way to get close to Isaac again, maybe by watching anime together. I’m fine with both angst and fluff for this ship.

♦Hetalia: Axis Powers:

•Belarus/Liechtenstein: Opposites attracts, Belarus introduces Liechtenstein to horror movies and occult shows she likes. The two of them bonding over their love for their brothers while not realizing how different their meanings of love are. I would also appreciate dark aus like fairy tale with Belarus as a witch and Liechtenstein as a pricess, or mermaids of the flesh eating type.

•America/Belarus: Enemies to lovers would be lovely for this pair, with lots of hate sex and UST. Belarus love horror and occult things and use them to scare America, or they watch horror movies together and though Belarus mocks America she lets him cuddle with her after. Or they fight and it ends with sex. I don't mind if you go dark with this ship but I woud like mutual attraction, either lust or serious feelings.

•France/Vietnam: They have a history and are pretty good friends now so some fluff would be great. France trying to romance Vietnam and her finding it sweet but is still very wary (because it’s France) would be nice, or something about how France influence Vietnam’s culture. I like food too so the two of them cooking their most signature dishes for each other, food porn would be appreciated.

•England/North Italy: This is one of those pairs where I love the idea of but don’t know how to talk about. They are both countries with long histories so maybe something about their relationship through time. Italy showing how to be a proper Italian while sneaking in some flirting, or a reverse attempt by England. Maybe England tells Italy about his fairy friends and Italy draws a painting for him.

♦D.Gray-man:

•Alma Karma/Kanda Yuu: Their story breaks my heart, I really want an AU where Alma lives and escapes with Kanda. I would also like exploration on the Alma’s connection to his past self, whether they are still the same person. What if he and Yuu had ran away when they remembered their past? Fluff is more than welcomed too, too much angst for this pair in canon already.

•Howard Link/Allen Walker: I love how their relationship grows from faux polite to genuinely caring about each other, so anything about that process and maybe even becoming lovers. In canon Allen talked about things like his past and worries to Link, so one of those occasions and him comforting Allen, maybe by baking him a cake. How about in the course of travelling with Neah Link thinks about Allen, the conflict between duty to protect The 14th and love for Allen.

♦Shingeki no Kyojin/Attack on Titan:

•Mikasa Ackerman/Armin Arlert/Eren Yeager: I have one requirement, that is Armin lives. I want them to go to the ocean and be happy. Or something about their time as refugees before joining the army. One of them getting mad on behalf of the other two, especially Mikasa or Armin. In a Future AU where all the titans are killed except for Eren how would they do? I wouldn't mind some codependency for them.

•Mikasa Ackerman/Sasha Blouse: They seems to be good friends during training days, so something with odd friends to even odder lovers, or maybe experimenting/friends with benefits. Mikasa lived in the wood when she was a kid, so she goes hunting with Sasha sometimes who is surprised and delighted. Or the two of them fighting together, with Sasha saving Mikasa.

•Hange Zoë/Erwin Smith: Hange is Erwin's second in command and he clearly trusts her, I want to see them in battle, how they make plans and work together. Friends with benefits fit them, comforting each other or just because they are gonna die anyway so why not. I'm very curious about Hange's backstory, so something from when she still hates Titan and how she changed, and how Erwin realized how outstanding she is.

♦Crossover:

•Elsa (Frozen)/Ariel (A little Mermaid): I don't usually like crossover but these two work so well. They are both royalty from kingdoms with magic (though Elsa's is less obvious) so Ariel would not be surprised by or scared of Elsa's power. They also both know the feeling of wanting to run away from their respective kingdom and duty. An arranged marriage AU would be very appropriate, with Elsa wanting to establish alliance with a magical kingdom. Being raised in the depth of the ocean Ariel had never seen snow and would be very curious and excited. Or something with Elsa being the one Ariel has a crush on and wants to be human for.
